Our Story

How it all started...

Cedar Road Church began as an outreach into the lives of children in 1947.  This ministry began to reach neighborhood kids and met in someone's garage.    From that humble start, the people continued to follow God's leadership and Cedar Road Church was formed.

We are a part of the North Central District of the Missionary Church, USA., a family of like-minded churches.  Our District is Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan.

We believe in the vision...

1. All people matter to God and, therefore, all people matter to us.  (John 3:16, 1 Timothy 2:4)
2. The Church must be relevant while remaining doctrinally pure.
(Colossians 2:8, 1 Timothy 6:20-21)
3. Christians should be authentic and continually growing in their relationship with God.
(Colossians 2:6-7)
4. The Church is a united community of servants who exercise their spiritual gifts in ministry with an attitude of love.
(Romans 12:4-8)
5. Every Believer should be actively involved in ministry in their areas of passion and giftedness.
(1 Peter 4:10)

Where we are headed...

We continue to passionately reach and teach others to know, grow, and go with Jesus Christ.   We continue to  meet in large groups as we worship and small groups in our Sunday School classes.

We continue to have small groups for specific needs.  This includes our Adult Bible Class on Wednesdays at 11 am.  We have special fellowship groups for Men and for Women.  We also have age oriented ministries, such as our Youth Group.

Be a part of our story...

Join us every Sunday as we gather to worship together at 10:30 am.
